Credit Card Fraud

Did you know that credit card fraud is one of the fastest-growing forms of identity theft? According to, credit card fraud losses were over $20 billion in 2019.

A significant portion of that fraud resulted from over-the-phone transactions. So, Central has taken action to protect your credit and debit card information based on the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

To protect your card information, Central has decided to stop the practice of taking full credit card numbers over the phone. Instead, new credit and debit card numbers can be entered from our policyholder’s personal devices directly into our third party vendor’s secure site.

To use this new feature, call a customer service representative at 800-786-9052 and let us know that you would like to make a credit card payment. We will send you a link via text message or email. Simply click on the link and follow the prompts to enter in your card number. Our system will be updated immediately, and you will receive a notification to verify that your payment has been submitted!

For more information about our new E-pay process, feel free to give us a call!
