	Danielle Andre is the Personal Lines Underwriter for the State of New York. Being a native New Yorker and holding a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz, Danielle began her insurance career as a PL Agent in New York in 2002. After relocating to MA in 2004, she continued building her insurance experience as an Agent in personal lines until joining the Central team in October 2018 as PL Underwriter. Danielle has earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative Elite (CISR Elite), Certified Professional in Personal Lines (CPPL), Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations, and is actively striving to obtain her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

	Daniel Arant is a Software Developer Specialist in our Accounts Receivable and Claims IT group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History and has earned an Associate’s degree in Computer Programming. Daniel is a second-generation programmer and fourth-generation Renaissance man who enjoys everything from Jewish History to cooking and archery.

	Jessica Archibald is a former employee of Central and was a Commercial Lines Services Coordinator in our Customer Service department. She earned her Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designation and obtained her Agent’s License for the state of Ohio. Jessica has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Northwestern Ohio and a Master’s Degree at Bowling Green State University.

	Rich Arney is a Senior Development Specialist within Central’s IT Department. Rich is a graduate of Bluffton College with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation. He has also taught several adult-education computer courses.

	Allan Banner is a Central’s Marketing Manager for North Carolina. He has experience in both Commercial Underwriting and Marketing. Allan has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. He was awarded the North Carolina Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) Company Representative of the Year in 1999. Allan graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

	Todd Barickman is a Claims Supervisor in Central’s Southwest Regional Office. Todd holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Texas in San Antonio. He also has a Master of Arts in Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. He holds his Associate in Claims (AIC) and Property Claim Law Associate (PCLA) designation.

	Kelle Bautz is a former employee of Central and was in the Customer Services Department. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she holds an Associate’s Degree from Bryant and Stratton College.

	Kristi Bell is a former employee of Central and was in the Marketing Department. Kristi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Tampa.

	Sara Beining is a Development Analyst in the Information Technology Department. She previously held positions in both Personal Lines Accounts Receivable and Commercial Lines Accounts Receivable. Sara has earned her Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations.

	Joey Bowen is a Senior Development Analyst in Central’s IT Department. He has been with Central since 2005, and during that time he has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM), Associate in Insurance Services (AINS), and Associate in Insurance Data Manager (AIDM) designations. Prior to joining Central, Joey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Ohio University.

	Jason Brown is a former employee of Central with over 30 years of insurance expertise in both claims and underwriting. A graduate of Indiana University, Jason earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Associate in Underwriting (AU), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Claims (AIC), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.

	Martha Brown was a former employee at Central as a Claims Supervisor in the Southeast Regional Office. Martha has earned the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and has completed the Supervisory Management Program.

	Kim Pierce is a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claim Representative in our Claims Department. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Since joining the Central team, Kim has earned her Certificate in General Insurance, Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Claims (AIC) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.

	John Carroll is a Commercial Staff Underwriter in Central’s Southeast Regional Office. He has over 30 years of experience as a commercial lines underwriter and over 20 of them with Central. John is a graduate of Georgia State University and has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

	Dave Clay retired from Central’s Marketing Department in 2017. Dave was the Marketing Manager for Indiana and worked for Central for almost 25 years with experience in both Commercial Underwriting and Marketing. During his years with Central, he earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations and has served on the Indiana CIC Education Committee for many years. He also earned the Indiana PIA Company Representative of the year in 2005 and the IIAI Company Professional of the Year in 2006. He graduated with honors from Wright State University in 1978 with a degree in Secondary Education/English.

	Joe Coffaro is a former commercial lines underwriter in Central’s Northeast Regional Office. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2001 on both the company and agency side. He earned his Bachelor’s in Speech Communications from Miami University in 2000.

	Marissa Coil is a former Customer Service Correspondent from the Extended Hours Department. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Bowling Green State University.

	A graduate of The Ohio State University, RJ Coleman is the Client Center Manager in Central’s Home Office. Previous to his current position, he spent five years in Central’s Claims department. He has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations. RJ’s claim to fame: he was a member of the Buckeyes’ 2002 National Championship and 2005 Big Ten Championship teams.

	Jared Davis is a former employee of Central in our Southeast Regional Office where he was a Senior Claims Representative. He is a 2005 graduate of Auburn University. Jared has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations.

	Laura Ditto was the Marketing Communications Manager at Central and retired in 2020. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Toledo and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. Laura is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP).

	Cory Eickholt is Central’s Loss Control Manager. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Military Science from the University of Toledo in 2009. Cory has been in the insurance industry for over ten years and has earned his Associate’s in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

	Shelly Eickholt is the Marketing Communications Specialist at Central and the editor of Central’s Blog. She also assists with Central’s social media pages and manages our agency publication, the Centralizer. Shelly has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Cincinnati.

	Chad Ellis is a Loss Control Supervisor in Georgia and Tennessee. He previously worked as a Loss Control Specialist and a claims representative and in personal lines underwriting. Chad has completed courses in property and liability, personal, and commercial insurance. He holds his Associate’s degree in Risk Management (ARM) and in General Insurance (AINS) designations.

	Scott Etzler was Central’s Operational Assurance Director. Scott has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indiana Tech and an MBA from the University of St. Francis. During his years with Central, he has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

	Ben Faurote is the Vice President of HR and Facilities for Central Insurance. Ben is responsible for all Human Resources programs, policies, procedures, and services, as well as the planning, use, and maintenance of Central’s Facilities. In 2019, Ben was appointed to Central’s Board of Directors, serving as Secretary. Ben received B.B.A. cum laude from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza’s College of Business, majoring in Management Information Systems and minoring in Finance. Ben then received his law degree J.D. with distinction from Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law.

	Jonathan Foreman is a former Actuarial Intern at Central. He is a graduate of Purdue Fort Wayne with a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. He has taught high school and college mathematics classes.

	A proud native of North Carolina, Jeff Foster was the Development Specialist in Central’s Personal Lines Underwriting Department and retired in 2021. Jeff graduated with honors in 1991 from Wingate University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Journalism.

	Ryan Franco is a Loss Control Specialist for Central’s Southeast Regional Office. He has been with Central since 2011 and in the loss control field since 2003. Ryan graduated from Keene State College in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Studies. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) through the National Fire Protection Association. Ryan has earned his Associated Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations.

	Melissa Friemoth is a Business Analyst in the Commercial Lines Department. She has an Associate Degree in Business from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Melissa has been with Central since 1993 and has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Underwriting (AU), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations.

	Anthony Gaytan is the Anti-Fraud Operations Analyst in Central’s Anti-Fraud Unit. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, an Undergraduate Certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Master’s Degrees in both Criminal Justice and Public Administration, and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources and Management. Anthony has also earned his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), as well as Certified Insurance Fraud Analyst (CIFA) designation from the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU). Anthony has also attended the investigation and analyst academies conducted by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB).

	Joi Jackson is a former employee of Central in the Commercial Underwriting Department. Joi holds a Bachelor’s in Finance, Insurance and Risk Management, and a Masters in Training and Development/Organizational Leadership, both obtained from Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois.

	Neil Gately is a former employee of Central in the Loss Control Department. Neil holds a Bachelor’s degree in wildlife ecology and management from Texas A&M University.

	Christina Germann is an Enterprise Reporting Analyst in Central’s Actuarial Department. She spent three summers as an intern at Central before graduating from Bowling Green State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Actuarial Science. She has received her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

	Keith Goad serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Central Insurance Companies. In this role, he has overall accountability for the company’s financial planning and analysis, strategy, investments, accounting, actuarial, data analytics, risk management, and innovation functions. He holds an undergraduate degree and an MBA from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

	Amy Grigsby is a Commercial Staff Underwriter in Central’s Home Office. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from The Ohio State University. Amy has been with Central since 2000. She has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), and Certified Insurance Counselor(CIC) designations.

	Nicolle Haggerty is a Claims Service Representative in Central’s Regional office. She is a graduate of Ohio University where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Criminology. Nicolle joined Central in 2017 and has her Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.

	Adam Halde is a Multi-Line Claim Representative in Central’s Northeast Regional Office. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire. Adam has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations.

	Chris Harris is a former employee of Central’s Marketing Department. Chris has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Oswego State University.

	Jackie Hartwell-Collins is the Project Manager in Central’s Customer Service Department. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science International Relations and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, both from Thomas College. Jackie has earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate in Personal Insurance (API), and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations.

	Erin Heaslip is a former employee of Central where she worked as an Accounts Receivable Correspondent. She earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University.

	Ryan Heil is a former employee of Central’s Actuarial Department. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science after attending Van Wert High School.

	Brittany High is a Property Claim Representative in Central’s Regional Office. She is a graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. Brittany has earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and her Associate in Insurance Services (AIS).

	Melissa Hilvers is the Personal Lines Underwriting and Systems Manager in the Home Office. Melissa has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Bowling Green State University. During her years with Central, she has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Personal Insurance (API), Certified Insurance Industry Professional (CIIP) and Associate in Management (AIM) designations. She is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals.

	Michele Hirsch is a Business Analyst in the Personal Lines Department. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University. Michele has been with Central since 1998. She has earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), the Associate in Personal Insurance (API), Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW), and Associate in Management (AIM) designations. Michele is also a member of Buckeye Insurance Professionals.

	Max Hutchinson is a Developer in Central’s IT Management, Accounting and Human Resource group. He graduated from Rhodes State College with his Associate’s degree in Web Programming and Computer Programming in May of 2016.

	Brian Ingram started with Central in October 2005 as a Claims Service Representative in the Auto Material Damage of the Southeast Regional Office. He is currently a Senior Claims Representative with more than ten years of claims experience altogether. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Kennesaw State University and has earned the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations.

	Pam Kabanuk retired in April of 2017 as a Staff Commercial Underwriter. She served Central for over 30 years, working 15 years in Central’s excess and surplus lines agency, Central Insurex, as a long-haul truck underwriter, and the last 15 years as a Commercial Underwriter for Central. Pam earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations.

	Matt Korte has is the Vice President of Information Technology. He is a graduate of Rhodes State College and has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS).

	Keagan Lehman currently works part-time in the IT department. Keagan lives in Elida and currently attends Rhodes for Web and Computer Programming. “I have a beautiful fiancée, Jenna Thiery, who is currently going to college for radiography at Rhodes. She also has done photography for two years and started her own photography business called “Through Jenna’s Lens”. I love being outdoors, I spend a lot of free time fishing and riding four-wheelers or dirt bikes through our woods. Jenna and I both love to cook and regularly do so for our families.”

	Pam Leis is a Customer Services Manager with Central. Prior to working in Customer Services, Pam spent nine years in Home Office Personal Lines Underwriting and four years in the Training and Education department. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Youngstown State University and has also earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Personal Insurance (API), and General Insurance (AINS) designations.

	Jeff Lieberman is the Director of Anti-Fraud & Recovery in Central’s Home Office Claims Department.

	Dustin Looser is the Claim Recovery Supervisor in the Home Office Subrogation Department. He is Attorney-Licensed in Ohio only.

	Ryan Lynch is a Commercial Lines Supervisor in the Northeast Regional Office. He earned a degree in finance from Bentley University and has been with Central since 2002. His first 11 years with Central were in the claims department. Ryan has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Commercial Underwriting – Management (AU-M), Associate in Claims (AIC), and Associate in Management (AIM) designations.

	Taylor Mays is a Personal Lines Underwriter in Central’s Southeast Regional Office. She is a graduate of the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Taylor started her insurance career at Central in the Claims Department. She has earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designations.

	Jim McGlauflin is a Central’s Marketing Manager for New York State. He has experience in both marketing and sales. Jim spent the first portion of his career in the banking and lending industry. In 2008, he changed careers and entered the insurance world working for an agency. He then moved to the carrier side and has worked as a marketing manager in NY ever since. He attended the University of Connecticut where he competed in Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field.

	Erika McIntosh is a Development Analyst in Central’s IT department within the Accounts Receivable and Claims group. She is an alumnus of The University of Findlay with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. While still attending college, Erika interned in Central’s Actuarial department. She is currently working towards her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

	Jeremy McMichen is a Claims Supervisor in Central’s Southeast Regional Office. Originally from Dallas, GA, Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Kennesaw State University. He has earned his Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS)designations, and is currently working on his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

	Joe Meyer is a Development Specialist within Central’s IT Department. He is a graduate of Bluffton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and is currently working toward his Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

	Scott Mills retired from Central’s IT department in 2015. Scott was the group manager for Management Reporting, Accounting and Human Resources. During his years with Central, he earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM) designations.

	Rebecca Money is a Personal Lines Underwriter at Central. She has a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and has earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations.

	Lance Moonshower has worked in Central’s IT department since 1991 and has served in a number of different roles within IT, including both application and systems development, as well as application and systems management. He currently serves as the IT Underwriting Systems Group Manager. While at Central, he has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS) as well as the Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designations.

	Keith Mulder has been with Central’s IT department since 1997 and currently serves as the manager for the Management Reporting, Accounting, and Human Resources IT group. Keith is a graduate of Rhodes State College and has earned his Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM) and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.

	Scott Mull is the Director of Property Claims for Central. Scott is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in political science. During his insurance career, Scott has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA), Associate in Personal Insurance (API), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), and Associate in Management (AIM) designations and Associate in Underwriting (AU).

	Kurt Muntzinger retired from Central in 2019. Kurt worked for Central in several capacities including in the Commercial Lines Underwriting Department in our Southwest Regional Office, later transferring to the Marketing department where he worked with agents in our Central and Southwest regions. Kurt joined Central’s E&S brokerage agency Central Insurex, where he handled management duties before taking a position in Commercial Lines Underwriting in the Home Office. Kurt holds his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.
	Joanne Myers is a Personal Lines Services Correspondent in Central’s Home Office. She has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Bowling Green State University in 2018.

	Amy Nighswander is a Client Center Correspondent. During her time with the company, she has earned her Associate in Insurance (AIS), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations. Amy received her Agent’s License in 2015 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the Ohio State University.

	Richard Nouza is the Manager for Claims Training and Compliance at Central. He has worked in the insurance claims industry since 1995 and began working at Central in 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Marietta College and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law.

	Stephanie Olsen is a Development Specialist in Home Office Personal Lines Underwriting. Prior to that she was a Senior Personal Lines Underwriter in Central’s Southeast Regional Office. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Iowa State University and has earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

	Michelle Perkins-Gorman is the Information Technology Development Support Supervisor in the IT department. She has earned her Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations. During her years at Central, she has worked in both Customer Service and Underwriting Operations.

	Steve Petty is former Loss Control Specialist for Central, Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Public & Environmental Affairs from Indiana University.

	Alex Plotkin is a Commercial Lines Underwriter in the Southwest Regional Office. Alex has a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Masters in Economics, and an MBA from Bentley University. He is currently studying to earn his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He served for three years on the board of the Alliance of Technology and Women as their social media director.

	Terry Powers is a Loss Control Consultant from Arizona. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Science Degree from Arizona State University in Production/Operations Management. He has worked in the Property/Casualty Business both as an Agent and in Loss Control since 1985.

	Zach Randolph is a former Central employee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Secondary Education from Berry College.

	Drew Reed is a Development Analyst for Central’s Commercial Lines IT. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University. He is currently working toward his Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

	Michael Reeves is Central’s Marketing Manager for North Texas. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Tarleton State University and has also earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years with experience in Marketing, Commercial Underwriting, and Loss Control.

	Jena Reindel is the Marketing and Events Coordinator. She is a graduate of Bluffton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, minor in Communications, and concentration in Public Relations. She has earned her AINS and API designations.

	Sue Kuroly is a Commercial Lines Underwriter in Central’s Northeast Regional Office. From Albany, NY, she graduated from the College of Saint Rose with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Communications. She holds a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, and is working towards an Associate in Commercial Underwriting Management (AU-M). Sue also holds a New York State broker license for property & casualty insurance. She contributed to Central’s social media channels as the Social Media Champion for the Northeast Region in 2019.

	Frankie Rodriguez is a Claims Supervisor in Central’s Southeast Regional Office. He is a Georgia State graduate and has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations.

	Madie Roediger is a Commercial Lines Correspondent in Central’s Customer Services Department. She is currently attending the Indiana Institute of Technology to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After she graduates, she plans to continue her education and obtain her CPA license. Madie is a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals. She is currently working towards her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

	Matthew Sbordone is the Marketing Manager for Tennessee. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2007 and has been with Central since January 2014. He earned his Bachelor’s in Print Journalism from Quinnipiac University in 2007. Matthew has completed his Associate in Commercial Underwriting-Management (AU-M), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.

	Carol Schulte retired from the Information Technology Department as the Development Supervisor for Personal Lines. She is a graduate of Rhodes State College and has earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS).

	Peter Scrivener is a Loss Control Specialist in our Northeast Region. Peter has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has been an agent, underwriter, and loss control consultant over the course of his career. Prior to that, he served in the United States Air Force. Peter joined Central’s loss control team in April 2014 and has earned his Associated Risk Management (ARM) designation.

	Loren Shindeldecker, a self-proclaimed “Technophile,” is the Supervisor in Central’s IT Technical Systems group. He is a graduate of Northwestern Business College with a degree in Programming and Systems Analysis. Over the years, Loren has had the opportunity to program and work on a variety of devices.

	Carly Smith joined Central Insurance Companies in 2013 as the Training & Education Coordinator and currently holds the position of Employment Manager. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Bowling Green State University and spent two summers as an intern at Central during college. She has earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate in Personal Lines Insurance (API), and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations. She is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals and serves on the Ohio Insurance Institute’s Education Committee.

	Jazmine Smith is a Customer Services Supervisor in Central’s Home Office Extended Hours Department. She has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Toledo and the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations.

	Kirsten States is a former employee of Central in the Loss Control department. Kirsten has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and is a member of the Colorado Chapter American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).

	Caroline Stauers is a Marketing Manager for the Southeast Regional Office handling Western North Carolina and South Carolina. Last year, she transferred from Connecticut where she did the same for Central since 2007. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Mathematics and currently has her CIC designation.

	Jason Stechschulte is a supervisor in Central’s IT Commercial Lines group. He has worked in the IT field since 1998 as a system administrator, programmer and network administrator before starting at Central in 2006. Jason is a graduate of Northwestern College and has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

	Dave Stefanowicz is a Personal Lines Underwriting Supervisor in the Southeast Regional Office. Dave has over 17 years of experience in the property and casualty industry and has been with Central since 2005. Dave has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designations, and completed The Institutes’ Program in Supervisory Management. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

	Luke Swartz is a former Marketing Manager. Luke earned his Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Business Management from Huntington University in 2009. He started out his career in Commercial Lines Underwriting before taking over as Marketing Manager for Tennessee in 2012. He came back to his home state of Ohio working with agencies in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio as a Commercial Underwriting Supervisor before taking over marketing responsibilities in Indiana. Luke has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations.

	Sarah Tharp was Central’s Social Media Specialist. She managed Central’s social media content strategy and execution for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Graphics from Purdue University and a minor in Organization Leadership and Supervision. She has earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations.

	Loss Control Specialist David Thompson works from our Central Regional Office. He has worked in the insurance industry as a Loss Control Consultant for 30 years. David has earned his Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety from Illinois State University.

	Lorali Todd is a Business Analyst in our Personal Lines Underwriting Department and has worked in the insurance industry over 20 years, both in Multi-line Claims and Personal Lines Underwriting. Lorali has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from The Defiance College. She has earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Personal Insurance (API), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Management (AIM), and Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designations. Lorali is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals.

	Jared Turnwald is a Loss Control Consultant in the Central Region. He is a graduate of The University of Findlay, with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He worked in Central’s Claims Department prior to joining Loss Control. He has earned his Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate in Claims (AIC), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.

	Maria Utendorf works as the Business Intelligence Analyst in the Central’s Home Office Personal Lines Department. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing specialty. She has earned her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations.

	Rick van den Hengel is the Personal Lines Pricing Manager in Central’s Actuarial Department. He joined the company in December of 2014, after having graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Actuarial Science earlier that same month. Rick has earned the FCAS designation.

	Shonda Vorst is the Marketing Communications Supervisor at Central. She oversees the daily tasks of the Marketing Communication Specialist, Social Media Specialist, and multimedia designers. Shonda has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University and has earned her Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations. She is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP).

	Claire Waller is a former Marketing Manager for Central. Prior to joining Central, she spent 15 years as an independent agent in Florida, Missouri and Texas. After moving to Colorado, Claire was an aviation agent focusing on private jet management fleets and Fixed Base Operations. She had the opportunity to become a New Business Underwriter for a national insurance company in the Select department for 4 years. She is also a volunteer police officer for Castle Rock Police Department Traffic Division as a first responder to traffic accidents and other traffic infractions.

	Icello White is a former employee of Central in the Loss Control department. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, receiving his B.A in Political Science. During his time in college, he enlisted in the United States Navy Reserve, eventually rising to the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class.

	Jason Williams is a former employee in Central’s IT Department. Prior to joining Central, Jason graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Ohio Northern University.

	Cheryl Yearling retired from Central in 2017. She earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Management (AIM) designations, and is a graduate of Rhodes State College. A senior member of Central’s Human Resources area, Cheryl served as Employment Manager.

	Matt Zollner is the Regional Vice President and Regional Manager for Central’s Northeast Region. Matt has experience working on both the carrier and the agency side of insurance. He has served in various positions including marketing, sales, underwriting and management with a wide variety of personal and commercial insurance products. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and has earned both the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.

	Guest Blogger Marc McNulty is the Chief Operating Officer / Principal at The Uhl Agency in Dayton, Ohio and has been with the agency since 2001. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Dayton and has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Marc also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations.

	Guest Blogger John Tessier is the Branch Manager at FBinsure in Taunton, MA.
